It is one of the most consumed fruits and its health qualities are undeniable. It provides potassium, phosphorus, fiber, calcium, sodium, magnesium, carbohydrates, iron and vitamins A, B, C and E.

A 85% of its composition is water, making it a very refreshing and moisturizing snack. Also, because of its content of natural sugars (fructose, glucose and sucrose) it is easily assimilated by the body.

Pears

It is a very complete and beneficial to health fruit. It is high in potassium, which acts with calcium in bone formation, low in carbohydrates and sodium and has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.

Cherries

Cherry is a red fruit (drupe type) that comes from the cherry tree of Rosaceae family, genus Prunus.

The main component in cherries is water in a 82%. The main nutrients are carbohydrates among them to be highlighted the high content of fructose.

As for their vitamin content cherries are high in vitamin C and vitamin A. But what really stands out is its content in flavonoids and ellagic acid from the group of polyphenols, both excellent antioxidants.

The most abundant minerals are magnesium and potassium, the last one important in muscular activity.

kiwi

Kiwi comes from a climbing plant that receives its same name and belongs to the family of Actinidiáceas, it is a very tasty fruit with interesting nutritious and healthy properties.

Its major component is water. It is of moderate caloric intake due to the amount of carbohydrates. It stands out the amount of vitamin C; more than twice as an orange, and B vitamins, among them folic acid. Likewise it is rich in minerals such as potassium, magnesium and fiber, soluble and insoluble. The fiber improves intestinal transit. Vitamin C is involved in the formation of collagen, bones and teeth, red blood cells and enhances the absorption of iron from food and resistance to infections.

Grapes

Grape is the name given to the fruit that grows forming bunches of the common grapevine or European vine. It belongs to the genus Vitis of the family Vitaceae, which includes about 600 species of shrubs, usually climbers and producing berry fruits.

The grape composition varies depending on whether they are white or black grapes. For both stand out two types of nutrients: sugars, mainly glucose and fructose more abundant in white grapes and vitamins (folic acid and vitamin B6). Its high content in sugars makes them one of the most caloric fruits. Among the minerals, potassium is the most abundant and is found in greater quantities in black grapes, while magnesium and calcium are in moderate quantities and are more abundant in white grapes.

In grapes abound several substances with recognized beneficial properties for health, such as anthocyanins, flavonoids and tannins responsible for color, aroma and texture characteristic of this fruit and on which depend different properties attributed to grapes.

Walnuts
